Wednesday, October 1
The Andersons, Sylvania, 6– 8 PM. Wines of Wild Horse Winery: 1. Wild Horse 2012 Chardonnay, 2. Wild Horse 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon, 3. Wild Horse 2012 GSM Grenache/Syrah/Mourvedre), 4. Eden Ice Cider. Nominal fee per sample or $10 per flight.

Thursday, October 2

Fall Wines: 1. 2011 Foxglove – Chardonnay – Central Coast, California, 2. 2013 Chateau Mourgues du Gres Rosé – Costieres De Nimes, 3. 2012 Columbia Crest – H3 Merlot – Horse Heaven Hills, Washington, 4. 2011 Peirano Estates – Merlot – Lodi, California. Nominal fee per sample or $5 per flight.

Andersons, Talmadge Road, Wine Tasting. 6-8 PM. Classic Affordable Bordeaux. Bordeaux is probably the world’s most recognizable wine, sometimes called the king of wines. It is always a blend Cabernet dominated or Merlot dominated with Cabernet Franc, Petite Verdot and Malbec giving assists. Most of these wines are from the marvelous 2009 and  2010 vintages. 1. Chateau Maison Blanche — Medoc, 2. Chateau Soleil Promessa  — Puisseguin Saint-Emilion Merlot/Cabernet Franc, 3. Alios de Sainte-Marie  — Cotes de Bordeaux, 4.
