Millbrook Winery 2010 Tocai Friulano

The 2010 Tocai Friulano comes from Millbrook Winery in New York’s Hudson Valley. The grape is most widely planted and consumed in the Friulia region in Northeast Italy. It is also sometimes known as Sauvignon Vert (Green Sauvignon?).
Millbrook has 30 acres of vines, five of which are dedicated to this unique Italian grape. This is an estate bottled wine. When we visited last summer we knew we had to pick up a bottle.
This is a refreshing wine. One sip transports you to the sun-dappled country side of Italy. This is recommended for fans of ABC (Anything But Chardonnay)!
