Walt Churchill’s Market, 3320 Briarfield. Maumee, (419) 794-4000. 12:00 – 4:00 PM. Special in-store tasting with Dirk Richter of Max Ferd Richter. No reservations required. Dirk Richter is the patriarch of one of Germany’s most historic and important wine estates. His family estate dates back 300 years and considered one of the finest producers of Riesling in the world. We will taste sweet and dry Rieslings. Richter is a great personality and one of our favorite people to have visit. $20 per person for wine tasting. Chef Bill Kolhoff will be cooking German food available at additional cost.
