Hello, I just found your blog today - this is a great resource and I am glad you have this up! I recently started trying to research growing grapes in my backyard. I live in the Toledo area, and I am particularly fond of the Vidal grape - for its ability to survive winter and icewine. Can you point me in a direction on starting to grow at home. I'm not looking for a huge production and right now I am in the information gathering stage to see if I want to do this. Thanks for your help! I have added your site to my Feedly.

Thomas, please send us a note at our email address -- twav@att.net . One of our tasting team members grows his own grapes and makes wine. We'll connect you.

Thanks for your comment.
