The Southeast Michigan Pioneer Wine Trail will celebrate on Saturday and Sunday, August 10-11 with a special event. “The Wine Days of Summer” is a self-driving tour of the wineries of the Pioneer Wine Trail. At each stop you’ll be served a wonderful picnic-related food prepared by a local chef or restaurant. Each winery will provide a generous pouring of one of their wines that pairs well with the food. You’ll also receive a recipe card to take home with you.
Tickets for this self-driven tour, which includes eight food and wine pairings, are $30. Each ticket purchase includes tasting up to 6 additional wines at each winery. Designated drivers eat for free.
There are no physical tickets mailed for this event. Once purchased, your name is added to a registration list that will be at each winery. Be sure to bring ID with you.
