This wine is a great value for a Napa Cabernet. It’s a good choice for an everyday wine at a price that won’t break the bank.Sean Minor blends 80% Cabernet, 13% Merlot, 6% Cab Franc and 1% Petit Verdot and the result is smooth drinking. It offers ripe cherry and blackberry flavors. There is also a smattering of roast coffee.
The body is medium and the finish is in the middle range.
This was satisfying, but not mind-blowing. For $15 or less, it doesn’t compete with the higher end Napa Cabs. But Sean Minor 2009 is ready to go for a nice “pop and pour” experience.
